Logan IS based on the Comics! A Movie Analyzation

The Death of Wolverine
Summary
The beginning of the end is now here: the death of Wolverine! With three months to live due to the loss of his healing factor, Wolverine’s demise will be the single most important X-Men event of the decade. Logan has spent over a century being the best there is at what he does, but even the best fade away eventually. Over the years, Logan has been a warrior, a hero, a renegade, a samurai, and a teacher. Now, the greatest X-Men hero will play a role he has never played before.
Similarity In the movie, Logan tries to fly under the radar. He only attacks when it is necessary. Just as the comic’s name, Logan dies, but he finds a mad scientist that he is going against. In the comic, Logan is also being hunted and with a mad scientist that was trying to create an army of mutants. ***Spoilers*** Just as in the movie, the mad scientist dies but the death of Wolverine is different. The one from the comic seems a bit more befitting of the hero, but i felt needs more explanation. Lets just say that at the end of the comic, the mighty Wolverine is now an adamantium Gargoyle. The final similarity is the healing serum. In the movie, “the medicine” would help the children heal faster as well heal Wolverine but also allowed him to have a brief burst of the animal berserk mode that we all know and love. In the comic, he faces Saber tooth and gets his eye mangled. A grown Kitty Pride shows up and defends against The Viper (Poison, Blonde then bald woman from the movie, The Wolverine). She gives a healing serum to him and his eye comes back. Logan pulls a lot of from the Death of Wolverine.
