Meatloaf in the contemporary American sense did not appear in cookbooks until the late 19th century.
  • 2 lb lean ground chuck
  • 1 egg
  • 1 yellow/white onion, coarsely grated
  • 1 bread crumbs
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • ½ cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 1½ teaspoon sea salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 can of Rotel Tomatoes
  • Sweet & Tangy Tomato sauce
  • ½ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoon dark brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon plain white vinegar
  1. Oven:
  2. Pre-heat the oven at 450F or 232C.
  3. *This can be done after making the loaf or the sauce.
  4. Making the meatloaf:
  5. in a large bowl, combine the ground chuck, egg, onion, potato, ½ cup of tomato sauce, breadcrumbs, sea salt, black pepper, chopped onions, chopped green peppers, rotel tomatoes (chilies and tomatoes)
  6. *Meat can be seasoned with Garlic power and seasoning salt.
  7. In smaller bowl, melt the butter and pour it into a pain.
  8. Form the beef mixture into a bread-like loaf and place in the center of the baking pan.
  9. *Remember to always wash your hands.
  10. Sweet &Tangy Tomato Sauce
  11. n a medium‑sized bowl combine ½ cup tomato sauce, mustard, brown sugar, and vinegar.
  12. Whisk and set aside.
  13. Oven-bake
  14. Insert Loaf into oven at 450f/232C for 15 until brown
  15. After 15 mins, take the STTS, and glaze the loaf every 10 minutes for the hour and thirty minutes or until sauce is finish.
